Transitioning Into Fall X2

Transitioning into fall, or any season for that matter, is a lot easier than most people think. It is not necessary to buy a brand new head to toe wardrobe every time the seasons change. For instance, in the Polyvore I created above, all the accessories as well as the blazer and skirt can be worn any time of the year. Depending on what part of the country you live in, boots and long sleeve blouses can be worn though out many seasons such as spring and possibly even summer. Since I live in Texas, wearing these items are definitely not an option for me! Dark purple and other jewel tones, especially jade green, are going to very hot for Fall 2012 so keep that in mind while shopping your new staple pieces.

Flirty Friday!

I am pleased to start featuring Flirt Boutique's merchandise every Friday! Flirt is an adorable and trendy boutique located in the heart of both Dallas and Ft Worth. The location in Dallas is off Mckinney Street and the location in Ft Worth is off of Crocket Street. They are very reasonably priced and have unique items. They have a limited supply of everything so you won't see a million and one people wearing the same outfit! The second I stepped through the door I knew I was in my element. It is such a warm, welcoming, and chic environment which made it easy to make myself right at home! This functional yet trendy clutch is one of 50 made and is a limited edition item. Not only is it a clutch that holds your necessities; lip gloss, keys, and cell phone but if you open the other side it has room for your iPad. Transitioning Into Fall

Over the next few weeks I am going to be giving fashion tips and ideas on how to transition into Fall. For those of you who live in Texas or the south in general, where it's still over 100 degrees everyday, I know you are not even thinking about getting out those fall clothes! Luckily with my transitioning skills, you don't have to start digging through the back of your closet right away. You can still wear those red skinnies with a chambray top which have both been very popular this summer. Throw on a gold scarf and add some cheetah accessories and you are all set. Fall 2012 is all about animal prints so get wild with your leopard, cheetah, alligator and zebra prints. Change out your white handbag to a darker shade such as saddle, nude, brown, grey or black and you are all set.

Don't forget that anything goes this summer so don't be afraid to mix it up with a lot of fun colors. This pink statement necklace and turquoise ring really pop with the yellow and black. I encourage everyone to experiment with brights and neons before summer is over.
