I love mixing and matching and I knew these two pieces would go great together. A beautiful floral blouse and a long neutral maxi skirt are both staples every fashion forward girl needs and this color combination is to die for!

It was love at first sight the second I saw this amazing turquoise knit blazer at Zara. I didn't even hesitate to pick it up and try it on and what do you know, it fit perfectly! I guess you could say it was fate as it was a match made in heaven!  If you are afraid of this bold color they sold it in a variety of others such as black, navy, white, red, and yellow. Don't miss out on this amazing staple because you will be sorry if you do!

Spotted: Lace shorts! If you haven't noticed, lace and crochet textured shorts are being seen everywhere in a variety of colors and lengths. This season you will be seeing heavy fabrics adorned with pastels, neutrals, and neon colors. Lace shorts are this summers hottest trend and aren't going anywhere anytime soon so sit back, relax and hop on the lace train.

Move over stripes because this new zig-zag print, referred to as the chevron print (see cardigan), is taking over and is HOT HOT HOT! Not only is this print trending in the fashion world but it's taking over in the home decor department and is even being seen on nails. I personally will never get tired of stripes but this is definitely a fresh new spin on them which I am loving!!

I love mixing different elements and trends together as this is the perfect example of beach club and tribal influenced. Mixing patterns colors can be tricky at times but you can never go wrong by following the color wheel.

As I stated in my post on Tuesday, Floral prints are all the rage this summer and the second I saw these Lilly Pulitzer pants I knew I had to have them! If you are afraid to color block the outfit because the print is so busy, a simple white tee would go perfectly as well. Fashion is all about having fun and finding a style that expresses yourself so my motto is "Go big or go home".

As I was watching Fashion Star, H&M picked up this amazing blazer from Orly and I knew I had to have it! For those of you who have no idea what Fashion Star is, it is a new show that premiered this past Spring and three stores (Saks, H&M and Macy's) will purchase designers (the contestants) clothes and sell them on their floors the next day. Everything featured on the show fly's off the racks in a matter of hours so obviously I was the first one at the mall waiting to add this gorgeous piece to my wardrobe. I paired it with this cheetah skirt and funky color heels to add a little edge. I encourage you all to take risks this summer and experiment with fun and daring clothes!
