Being a native Texan, I am constantly pairing country inspired clothing with other pieces (I guess it's just habit) and even though I grew up in Dallas, I have to stay loyal to my roots! I love the contrast of rustic and feminine styles as I think they create perfect harmony.
If any of you are familiar with Brooks and Dunn then you know "you can't take the honky tonk out of the girl." ;)
I love this! Even though I have always looked at your profile for outfit ideas...hee, hee...at least now I can look at your blog!
ReplyDeleteI'm completely swooning over that lace skirt, it is adoable! Also I love how you paired it with bright accessories, really ties it all together.

Thank you for stopping by my blog! I always love blogs from other southern girls! I love this outfit. I've actually been looking for a lace skirt that color for awhile now (preferably reasonably priced for this college girl right here) and so now I'm going to go stalk forever21 (like I don't already). Definitely following! Stop by again soon :)

and by following I mean subscribing. because I'm cool like that... (haha)
DeleteI love the shirt you put with this skirt! I actually own the same skirt & always have a hard time figuring out what to wear but it's usually a plain boring cotton t-shirt in an array of diff colors! I like how you put a unique texture with it! I'll have to try it out :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the support! love the comments!! and Nicole don't you love the skirt?! Let me know how the look turns out!!
